so my mom was in town, and she mad a crazy amount of spanish pork goods, which had lead to me and roz suffering from some wild out stomach issues.

so as you would imagine i have been having some ill dreams!

here is a couple that stood out, and that i could remember best.

1...

i was in this crazy forrest area, the trees were huge, and all the animals were alot bigger than they would normally be. for some reason in this land i had to journey to the east, and to do so i had to climb this enormous tree and tear of one of its branches and use it as some kind of talisman of protection. so i do that all the while laughing cuz deep down i can not even comprehend doing anything like that. just as i am done widdling this tree appendage, i get attacked by this forrest goblin with a huge mouth, and he was threatening to eat me. i woke up laughing like a goon!

i am in this crazy big movie theatre, like radio city or the ziegfeld, i am carrying a bunch of concessions, popcorn, soda and the like, the movie is already playing and i am searching for a bunch of children that i was in charge of...i cant find them, and i am getting super anxious about it, when i trip and fall, everything spills all over the place except for one bag of popcorn, as i am getting up and cleaning myself off, i hear laughter coming from one direction, thats when i see patrick swayze laughing at me while he feeds a baby in a high chair in the theatre, as he points and giggles his face off i throw the last bag of popcorn at his face and exclaim "fuck you pattie, your dead anyway asshole!"...and then i start laughing and pointing at him...then my alarm goes off...

goings on goings goings on goings on...

currently:

-reading the third book of the dark tower series by stephen king. pretty decent fantasy read. the way king writes can be annoying. almost done with number three and all i can think about is sitting down and rereading some pkd, vonnegut, or william gibson, maybe palahniuk even. i actually havent read this much fiction in a while...

-watching alot of anime, dirty pair, paprika, spirited away etc. at home. still trying to find a bootleg of ponyo in japanese, i dont understand the language but i prefer it...with subtitles of course. also trying to get my hands on the original prisoner series...just saw anti christ, which was incredible, not for the faint of testicle...might peep the new herzog flick tonight.

-still digging for video footage or surgeries while creating my own clips of footage to loop around your skull. good fun! also attempting to create a stroboscopic effect with anal ogue technique as opposed to just creating it in 3d or what have you...that has lead down a road of pointing my camera at the business end of my strobe light...all i have gotten from it is some really interesting light trails, and quite a headache. still searching...!

so september came and went pretty quickly...

had some authentic caipirinha's at this awesome south american restaurant we discovered...

went to a karate party...

met genesis p orridge!!!

and saw thee majesty perform.

had a panic attack(not cool)!

had a couple shoots...

took part in a good friends wedding. got my hair did.

for my spirit formation anniversary, i had a three day celebration...

hung out at port authority, people watched, saw the yankees give the red sox a baseball clinic at a bar inside said bus station, and watched a midnight showing of 'sorority row'...

went to an authentic bavarian beer garden in brooklyn, which was awesome, had venison sausage, keilbasa and schnitzel as well as huge steins of beer till my memory and got dark, then woke up back in the bronx for a great late night session with good friends...

the next day, my amazing girlfriend hosted a little backyard bbq for us and some friends, charred animal flesh was served, beer and spirits were ingested, life was celebrated!

got a new tat(see above image)!!

bled like a son of a gunderson.but as you know, blood must be shed!

since then i have been getting ready to be real busy, with a number of art, video and theatre projects i have going on, not to mention the ins and outs of a trashy office day job.

it was a wonderful experience being apart of
the seven collectives first theatric presentation of CLOSER by patrick marber, directed by david king.

it's only the beginning. the first, living workshop, of much more to come.

now that there will be some time between now and the actual full run. i am now left with the chance to start up, revive, ressurect some projects i had been working on.
- photic stimulation
- video mixing
etc etc...

general feeling as of right now.

i woke up this morning feeling as if i was covered in a paper thin membrane of bullshit. not necessarily sweat. more like a metaphysical haze that has me a bit stuck, somewhat trapped. i wouldnt classify it as melancholy, or even sadness. if anything it is closer to frustration. in part of what, i do not know. but i certainly feel it. possible diagnosis, could be complacency in terms of workplace...routine smashing, defeating, and snuffing out excitement, artistic thrills and inspiration...boohooo! poor baby!

been waiting too long, and you decide to try and lighten
things up with a joke about the situation,

with a wet thunderous roar, and i start cackling
till i almost pass out.

i turned 27 this past saturday.
and decided to celebrate with two
days of festivities, and a third day
absolutely by mistake.

last friday
i got duped into having a trashy
bday bash at club duvet!
wack ass excuse for a new york night club.
i knew i would hate it.
but absolutely loved the idea of getting all dressed up,
and making a big deal about going to a place i dislike.

the place bit ass.
the bouncers, while molesting my pretty brown ass, almost
found two grams of my favorite party favors.
and the open bar was a jip cause only one bartender
was serving.
still chugged like four free vodka and cranberry's.
the music was horrible.
enjoyed some dancehall ish though.
party favors were up and flying.
shots were had.

the beds were wack.
by half past midnight, i was piss drunk.
and dont recall much.
this evening was fly because of the people who came out.

that was on some mistake shit.
me and the roz, on almost four hours
of sleep in two days, we went to
a friend of ours' engagement party/brunch style
at Tosca's.
buffet set up.
good eats.
and unlimited mimosa's!
bad news.
at one point all of the couples friends and family looked
in awe, as me and roz chugged down champagne glasses
and demanded more.
after that everyone seemed to accept the idea of getting
sauced on a sunday afternoon.
which is what we did.
and for sure after we got home,
we continued to drink.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — A Puerto Rican man has been granted his wish to remain standing — even in death.
A funeral home used a special embalming treatment to keep the corpse of 24-year-old Angel Pantoja Medina standing upright for his three-day wake.
Dressed in a Yankees baseball cap and sunglasses, Pantoja was mourned by relatives while propped upright in his mother's living room.
His brother Carlos told the El Nuevo Dia newspaper the victim had long said he wanted to be upright for his own wake: "He wanted to be happy, standing."
The owner of the Marin Funeral Home, Damaris Marin, told The Associated Press the mother asked him to fulfill her dead son's last wish.
Pantoja was found dead Friday underneath a bridge in San Juan and buried Monday. Police are investigating.

so me and the gang

(roz, duff, letty, feelix, and krautkrotch) headed to apw last friday.

it was amazing and yet disastrous at the same time.

here is the story, told with bad grammar and phontography(sanbac i c you!).

the day started off well.

me and the riz picked up krotch and feel, all was good.

we were on our way to casa palace for some supplies, when feel realized he had

forgotten his identification. not good considering he is an a illegal.

this snag plus two huge accidents on major highways in the neighbor hood did not help.

so we had to double back, get his id, and then finish loading up the car for the trip.

supplies included:

-pint of bacardi select

-large bottle of malibu-coconut rum, (dont hate!)

-pizza

-garbage bags(forecast called for rain)

-cups

-ice

-iced tea

by the time we got to the holland tunnel, we was sauced. nevermind being bummed about missing one of the main acts that made us decide to go in the first place(the go! team).

we parked and rode the fight rail.

when we got there we were a bumbling mix of rum soaked explosives.

once we got there, we made a bee line for the wack ass beer garden.

got wristbanded with those damn five tabbed bullshits. five beer limit. wtf!

well either way, we got crazy in the garden, long hammer style!

saw css, who absolutely killed.

went back to the wack garden and continued , garbage bagged it up for rain protection.

sidenote, if you know its gonna rain and actually care about your cell phone carry a ziplock bag, stupid.

got dried, kept getting drunk.

around this time feel and letts schemed fresh wristbands full of beer tabs, after which feel was very rudely removed from the beer garden for being a dominican plantain abuser.

the beer cops were total douche bags.

feel and krotch left on an angry tirade while the rest of us had to chug our beers to get out of there. did i mention that while this was happening you could hear the dirty sounds of girl talk, and the nasty glory of underworld at the same time. yeah!!

then it was time.

getting home turned out to be the true test.

fuck man, our feets were all in no kind of shape for more walking.

- light rail line was crazy

- no fucking cabs?!??

- roz' car got towed on some bull shit, and we couldnt pick it up till the next day

- guess where me and roz' house keys were???

- stranded in jersey city

- path train at 1:45am.

- more walking to the two train

- no 2 train service, more walking to the e train

- transfer at times square, more fucking walking!

- lucked out on the five train, not much wait

- got to the bronx, more walking.

- crashed at krotch and feels crib.

- woke up to go to nj and pick up the whip!

you know, when the five train actually went above ground in the bx it felt like we were in

'the warriors'. it felt so great, just to get back to our borough.

fuck man, thats one fucked crazy day!

oh plus the food at the fest was sick, the burgers were being made by some fundraisers peeps, they were beyond tasty, and they were making some shit called butterfly fries!

the brazilian girls released a new album on tuesday, performed two apple in store performances one being a dj set.

however between the two appearances, they had a party bus filled with fans, drive around the city, with them and us in it.
the first appearance was great very intimate and chill, all new material, fly.

drank a load of beer for free, stole a bottle of red wine, had some pizza goodness,

so, i am at work.

so on thursday 4.24 we got to the coachella campground.

from the parking lot to the campsite, on the first trip or three,
i was already hallucinating, seeing mirages of whiskey fountains
and hairy breasted women.

that evening, i had gotten invited to a filter magazine
festival starter party. it was at a secret location, and was being dj'd by super
secret special guests. the party was out of hand. they had an open bar on vodka, which
we all know is bad news for me. i got crunk
i think me and roz stole free red bulls, not sure if that
makes sense, but i was piss ass crunk, dancing like a prick and all that.

good times

the music festival was ill
once you get passed that whole sun soaked heat shit, we had a pretty cool time.
hiding under anything for shade, waiting on lines for showers, questionable port a potties,
and mad water!!!
all in all we saw some cool acts such as

chromeo
simian mobile disco
death cab for cutie
portishead
kraftwerk
prince

on the last day, we basically drank, and chilled in the pool, i got sunburned.

and then roz says lets go to the arial tram.

the tram was intense.

just to get to the parking lot you have go up two thousand feet, straight up, almost literally.

(i cant front, i almost chickened out, i got over it semi quickly lol.)

then you get on the tram, and it basically goes up another six thousand feet.

last monday,

me and roz left for california

for about a week

in that week
we swam in pools, drove to san diego
to see my marine cousin, went to la,
had burritos, got lost on the way to the
hollywood sign, oh and we actually
even had a chance go to the
coachella music festival...

it was a fly trip

i took mad stupid photos...

a lot of which havent been developed and or scanned yet(polaroids)...
so i will start off with some of the digital shots

and as usual for a more in depth set of these pics

and roz buzzing the rest off, she got a haircut too

kids DO say the darn-dest things!

today the psychologist and i were doing a lesson with 4 year olds on feelings. we used a computer and projected large images of children showing different emotions on the wall of the classroom. after showing the image, we had the students tell us what feelings the children were showing, i.e. happy, sad, ashamed etc...

and then asked the students to tell us a situation when they would feel each emotion.well, when we got to the attached pic

... these were some of the responses:

student 1(4 year old girl): That girl is sad.

Dr: Why do you think she is sad?

student 1: She sad because she need to get her hair done.

student 2(4 year old girl): "She cold cuz she wet."

student 3(4 year old boy): That girl is afraid.

Dr. : Good job. When do you feel afraid?

student 3: I am afraid of my grandma room cuz she got bed bugs. My mommy told me not to go in there ... so I have to sleep in mommy's room. Grandma got bed bugs...

last night was incredible happening
saw boredoms with soft circle and black pus
caught the last part of the soft circle set
and all of black pus
both one man bands
and both really interesting
black pus wore a cool mask with this wild mic attachment...
all in all two dope openers

then came boredoms, in the round
which basically means they had a mini stage in the
middle of the audience, in the shape of a circle of course.
they were beyond!

it started with eye(band leader), doing this crazy light dance
with a glowing orb in each hand.

they had a primitive power with full on focuse on every
minute detail of the music.

it was like watching a pack of rabid wild animals
conduct a symphony.
intensity in ten cities!
